I'm anxious to see what the O's can get for Bedard. MacPhail tried to extend his contract, but recently stated that "talks have cooled". The rumor mill claims Bedard is asking for Johan Santana money, so I suspect his days with the O's are numbered, especially if MacPhail can get a boatload of young talent in return.
Also, happy to see the Kitties get Cabrera. The rumor mill has Tejada going to Angels or Dodgers, whichever didn't get Cabrera. Hopefully, MacPhail can squeeze a little more out of somebody with Cabrera off the market.
