The Orioles had not hit a 3-run home run all season until last Thursday against Kansas City. Luke Scott blasted a 3-run shot in the 3rd inning off of Josh Beckett last night to give the O's a 5-3 lead on their way to a 5-4 victory over the Red Sox.
It was the 4th 3-run homer for the O's in the last 5 games with Nick Markakis, Aubrey Huff, Kevin Millar and Luke Scott providing the big blows.
The Orioles are 4-0 in the games in which they've hit a 3-run home run.
